First off, I love this post. You encapsulated the feeling you felt at that show so well, I could imagine it myself even though I wasn't there. I liked your commentary on Kanye and how unpredictable he is. However, I feel there are other ways (other than performances) music brings people together. Meeting new people and asking their music taste can help bring people together, because if you listen to the same artist you already have that musical connection. The other example I can think of is when your favorite artist is dropping a new album: when everyone who listens to that artist stays up until midnight to hear the album.. I find that really has brought me closer with people. Overall, I really loved reading this and it made me miss going to concerts, and that does sound like a pretty amazing concert to have gone to.
